In the next several months we will be putting up all racing results, progress reports, activites, social and anything else on the quest to win the 18ft WORLD TITLE starting Feb 12th 2010!
Last years results saw Project Racing coming in a very respectable 6th place in the JJ Giltinan Trophy series held in Sydney Harbour. This year they are hoping to knock everyone else out of the running with the new boat!

James Barker is the bowman and does ALL of the boatwork. He also gets the blame if anything goes wrong !
ex 49er crew and Laser 4000 European Champion. Not much I know but its his claim to fame!!
Harness looks a bit tight, too many pies!

Matt is part of the original Project Racing 18 crew and after a short time away has come back to join us for the JJ as mainsheet hand.
49er Irish crew, currently on an Olympic/ Social campaign and recently put in a solid 30th place( Would have been better if he had a depth sounder) at the 2010 World's in the Bahamas.
He's very precious and prone to injuring himself, and has a week bladder but the chicks dig that .......or so he says!

Adam South is Project Team coach. Skiff legend back in the day. JJ WINNER and Beashel Course Record Holder. Or atleast thats what he tells us!!!
Looks like he would be happier on a HARLEY with leathers, but thats his secret life!
He keeps us young lads in control.

Andy Budgen, the thought machine behind Project Racing. He loves to sit and watch and tell James where he is going wrong but boy does he know how to get to boat speed city!
He is holding many years of sailing experience and several titles to his name- Laser 5000 National Champion, 49er National Champion and 2nd in the World, 49er Helm.
With a brand new boat and a boom you couldnt miss if your eyes were closed, Andy has high hopes for his team this year, just dont call him Shirley!!!
